The Japan IP High Court recently announced the release of its 2018 Guidebook. Written in alternating English and Japanese text, the Guidebook covers such topics as the history of the IP High Court; the Court’s litigation system; and judicial research officials (expert advisors who are called upon to assist in highly technical cases) assigned by the Court. The Guidebook also gives an overview of several famous Grand Panel decisions, such as the 2014 Apple vs. Samsung decision.
