The Intellectual Property High Court will host its annual Judicial Symposium on Intellectual Property in Tokyo, Japan on September 25-27, 2019. The theme of this year’s JSIP/Tokyo symposium is “IP Dispute Resolution in the Asia-Pacific Region.”
In conjunction with the Japan Supreme Court, the Japan Patent Office, and the Intellectual Property High Court, JSIP/Tokyo 2019 will host judges and attorneys from a number of Asia-Pacific countries. The symposium will feature mock trials (regarding the topics “Claim Construction in Patent Litigation” and “Civil Litigation of Copyright Infringement”), as well as an array of panel discussions. Simultaneous Japanese/English will be provided for all events.
