On November 20, 2019, the Japan Patent Office will host an international symposium in Tokyo regarding AI-related patent applications. The symposium, which will host an array of experts from the IP5 countries (Japan, EU, US, South Korea, and China), will highlight points applicants should be aware of when attempting to secure patent protection for inventions in this new technological field.
