The Japan Patent Office, in association with the Japan Patent Attorneys Association, the German-Japanese Association of Jurists, and other sponsors, will present a “Symposium on Patent Litigation in Europe and Japan“ on Friday, November 18, 2016, at Hotel Okura in Tokyo, Japan.

Scheduled speakers include JPO Commissioner Mr. Yoshinori Komiya and European Patent Office vice-president Mr. Raymond Lutz. The eight-hour event will cover such topics as nullity proceedings in Germany, patent infringement litigation, and trials and opposition in Japan.
